One of the easiest ways for your company to support St Elizabeth’s is through employee fundraising and volunteering. Supporting St Elizabeth’s this way will bring your company’s corporate social responsibility strategy alive and give your employees rewarding team building experiences that will get everyone working together in different situations, for one common cause. This gives you the opportunity to boost morale and increase productivity as well as have some fun!
If your company wants to demonstrate that it is committed to the good causes that your employees care about, contact St Elizabeth’s and together we will develop a corporate/charity partnership that will leave your employees asking to do more.
Charity of the Year
By adopting St Elizabeth’s as your company’s charity partner you can help us to fund new projects that will directly benefit the children and adults in our care. We will work with you to develop a programme of fundraising and volunteering opportunities to captivate your employees, generate publicity and ultimately support people with severe epilepsy.
St Elizabeth's is delighted that Nockolds Solicitors has selected our charity as their Charity of the Year for 2012!
Payroll Giving
If you are an employee you can make a donation direct from your gross salary (before tax is deducted) to St Elizabeth’s. The advantage of giving this way is that tax relief is added to increase the value of your donation (eg a standard rate taxpayer donating £5 per month will in fact pay £4 per month, that’s less than £1 a week).
If you would like to make a regular donation direct from your salary you will need to arrange this with your employer. Many employers encourage payroll giving but if your employer does not have this set up they will need to register with a Payroll Giving Agency. More information can be found on the HM Revenue & Customs website. Please do let us know if you decide to support St Elizabeth’s this way.
Employee Fundraising

Employee Volunteering
St Elizabeth’s has a wide range of volunteering opportunities for corporate volunteer teams of 4-40 persons, including helping out at our horticulture project Ash Vale, general maintenance tasks around our 65 acre parkland site, sorting new donations in our charity shops or helping us to prepare for a major fundraising event. Corporate volunteer team leaders can visit St Elizabeth’s in advance to find our more.
Sponsorship
We have numerous sponsorship opportunities including publications and new equipment for the children and adults in our care. We would be delighted to publicise the fact that your company has supported a specific area of our work.
Cause related marketing
Would your company like to be associated with a unique national charity? It is well known that brands that associate themselves with the right cause often experience a significant growth in customer loyalty, satisfaction and credibility. Your company may well benefit from entering into a partnership with St Elizabeth’s.
