Welcome to St Elizabeth’s. We specialise in providing for the care of people of all ages with severe epilepsy, associated neurological disorders, learning disabilities and other complex medical conditions.
The Centre is set in 65 acres of safe, spacious parkland only 15 minutes from Bishop’s Stortford and comprises a Residential Special School for young people up to the age of 19 years; a Further Education College with Domiciliary Care Agency supporting learners aged 18-25 aspiring to more independent living, (in housing both on campus and in Bishop’s Stortford), and a “village” of modern bungalows for over 100 residents requiring Adult Residential Care.
Nursing and Therapy support is integral to all services. You can find more about any of these services by using the links above.
Friendships and lifestyles at St Elizabeth's, both on and off campus, are enriched through our own Day Activities Service provision and various Social Enterprises, (both also open to Day Placements), offering supported training and employment in organic horticulture, artwork, ceramics and jewellery with retail outlets in surrounding towns. St Elizabeth's also provides an Adult Respite Care Service.
