Lucy’s Story

Lucy lives in a shared house in Essex, in a supported living setting.  She still manages her benefits, makes her own food and continues to work on her independence skills. 

Lucy currently attends her local College two days a week.  She has made a lot of new friends there.  Lucy works in a local charity shop one morning a week and helps at her local nail bar one afternoon a week.  In her spare time Lucy goes swimming, attends the gym, does her washing, housework, cooking and still loves to go shopping.

Lucy did not want to leave St Elizabeth’s College, but she is really happy in her new life, she loves her jobs, her new friends and is proud of her new big bedroom.
