The lower school consists of pupils aged 5-16 where pupils experience a full range of subjects as well as programmes suited to their needs.
Whilst all our pupils and students are on the same site, we aim to create a special identity for our 5-16 year olds. As such, they have their own uniform which they chose and helped to design and which they are very proud of.
We offer all pupils the full benefits of the National Curriculum and while at St Elizabeth’s they can expect to study the following subjects.
- Literacy / Communication
- Humanities – History, Geography and Religious Studies.
- Design and Technology
- Religious Education
- Personal, Social & Health Citizenship Education and SEAL
- Information & Communication Technology
- Art and Design
- Each half term each class undertakes a cross curricular project which is often based off site.
A number of pupils achieve at Foundation Level GCSE or Entry Level Certificate. All pupils gain AQA Unit Awards.
