Scott’s Story

Scott now lives in a supported living shared flat in Hertfordshire.  He is sharing with another ex-College learner.  He is using his individualised budget to buy in his care and attends a local College two days a week. 

Scott is putting his gardening skills to use that he has developed at Ash Vale as he attends a local horticulture project two days a week.  He gets paid for this.

Scott has made a lot of new friends, he regularly accesses local groups like the Special Olympics.  Scott has a key worker and still works on his independence skills; he does his own shopping, manages his money and enjoys cooking.  Scott really enjoys living close to his family and enjoys living with his old friend.
