I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.  John, 10:10

Religious Education is taught by all teachers and supported by the charism and ethos of the Daughters of the Cross and our full time Chaplain. We have a Centre chapel and prayer room which are used regularly.

Our young people are central to the weekly cycle of preparing, participating in and reflecting on assemblies. We celebrate special times in the Church, Centre and School year with inclusive liturgies. The participation of parents and the wider community is welcomed.

Pupils of all faiths are supported by the staff in their spiritual and moral development and religious observance across the waking day curriculum. There are currently young people from Sikh, Buddhist, Jewish and Muslim traditions on the school roll.  We value in the diversity of cultures and races which make up our school community, recognising that each person is a citizen of the world uniquely loved by God.

Both, our outstanding provision and continued efforts are best summed up in the inspection judgement:

St Elizabeth’s is a fully inclusive community that is “growing together in love to make the world a better place for all.”  (Section 48 Inspection Report, January 2011)
