St Elizabeth’s Centre receives government funding to pay for education, care and accommodation for all those in our care.  However, because St Elizabeth’s provides additional facilities and resources over and above what government funders consider as essential, the fees paid do not meet all our costs. In addition, we have a rolling programme of refurbishment and building works.

Your money goes directly towards current projects.  You can specify which project or service (school, college, adult home) that you would like your donation to support.

Here are some examples of where you money goes:

  • £11 will buy three Knobbly Balls for use in a therapy session to help counteract sensory integrative dysfunction.
  • £75 will buy an outside chalkboard to be used by children in St Elizabeth’s School during recreational activities.
  • £500 will pay for a school coach trip to a museum.
  • £2,000 will pay for the design and printing of a set of seven different health care information leaflets.
  • £5,000 will make an important contribution to a new minibus for our adult residents to ensure they can continue to go out and about.

Or why not consider making a donation towards our latest capital build project? The Training Therapy & Vocational (TTV) Centre will replace our existing Day Centre and provide purpose designed accommodation for St Elizabeth’s College.   Please consider making a donation towards this project – you can be sure your donation will have a direct benefit for St Elizabeth’s college learners, adult residents and day clients.
