Christmas at St. Elizabeth's

Christmas at St. Elizabeth's

Christmas at St. Elizabeth's

Following on from the success of the Christmas Bazaar a few weeks ago, St. Elizabeth's has gotten fully in to the Christmassy swing!

Our annual Santa Dash saw over 100 residents, students and staff all come together to take part in a (very chilly!) 1 mile dash/ walk/ cycle/ wheel around the site, followed by a much needed mince pie.

We had our Service of Reflection to mark the beginning of Advent, where we remembered all those who had passed away, particularly the residents and friends of the Centre whom we have lost over the year. On Friday, the Centre came together again for our Carol Concert, with carols being sung and signed in a very full Chapel.

That afternoon, the School put on their Christmas Concert for parents and staff - based on Beauty and the Beast, the children told the story of Belle and her Prince whilst signing, dancing and playing.

Our College Students all went to see Snow White at the Spotlight Theatre in Broxbourne, followed by a special meal to celebrate Christmas together.

And our adult residents are all preparing for Christmas parties and celebrations over the coming week - it's a busy time!

A huge thank you to those who will be working throughout the Christmas break to ensure our residents stay safe and continue to receive the best possible care.

On behalf of us all here at the Centre - residents, students and staff - we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful year to come.
