Christmas Bazaar - A Winter Wonderland!

Christmas Bazaar - A Winter Wonderland!

Everyone had a fabulous time at St. Elizabeth’s Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 25th November. The sun shone on our Winter wonderland - we had over 600 visitors who came along to shop, eat and play, including residents and learners of St. Elizabeth’s who all thoroughly enjoyed the day.

On sale was a huge range of gifts and crafts made by our adult residents and day clients, including a range of Christmas wreaths, plants, Christmas decorations, jewellery, ceramics, prints and pottery. We had over 20 stalls from local craft and produce makers, and a number of games (including our famous "Smash-a-Crock"!). Father Christmas and one of his Reindeer visited too, which all added to the excitement – thanks to Pets Corner in Harlow who helped direct Santa’s reindeer to the right place!

Thank you to all those who provided entertainment on the day (all supplied free of charge), including local musicians from Harlow Choir “Double Up Your Spirits” and Don Fox, who came along as Elvis.

The hungry were fed by fellow charity RRT (“Rapid Relief Team”) who provided delicious burgers and hot dogs, and an army of volunteers, with 100% of all proceeds coming back to St. Elizabeth’s. Thank you for such amazing support.

And a big thanks to everyone who came along or who volunteered on the day, helping to make it such a wonderful success.

It's only 7 months away(!), so we’ve already started to think about our Summer Fayre – make sure you save the date: Saturday 30th June 2018!
