Constitution

St Elizabeth’s Centre is a Registered Charity (number 1176777) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (number 11087989).

The charity was previously one of the charitable works of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège (“the Congregation”), a Catholic religious congregation, founded in 1833 in Liège, Belgium. The Congregation in the British Isles is a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 15 January 1998 under company number 3492921 and registered under charity number 1068661.

Organisation

The Board of Trustees meet five times a year and advises the Strategic Leadership Team on all aspects of the Centre's strategic direction and monitoring of our work.

In addition there is a Home Advisory Committee and Boards of School and College Governors to advise on the operation of the Adult Care Services, School and College respectively.

Our Centre-wide Strategic Leadership Team, consisting of our Chief Executive (Adam Sampson), Director of Education (Sharon Wallin), Director of Adult Care Services (Jill Rankin), Director of Finance (Andrew Whitehead)and Director of HR & Staff Development (Gail Christey), undertake the routine day-to-day management of over 600 multi-disciplinary staff at St Elizabeth's and of the services they deliver.
