Nichole House is a new purpose-built facility that provides a quality service to up to five people who require respite care.
The staff are experienced and well trained, which enables them to meet the needs of a wide variety of people with complex needs.
The facilities are suitable for people with physical disabilities as well as other complex health conditions. Set in safe, spacious grounds, clients in Nichole House have full access to a wide range of on and off site social, leisure and vocational opportunities.

Team Approach
St Elizabeth’s is committed to providing an effective and quality service to assist clients and their families in need of a respite service. All our social care and health staff have specialist training (including epilepsy training) to enable them to confidently and competently meet the needs of service users.
Our various professional teams include:

- Learning disability nurses
- General nurses

- Art therapist
Our multidisciplinary staff work in a collaborative and coordinated manner to ensure that each individual has an appropriate daily social care and health programme suited to their abilities, aspirations and needs.
Day Activities Programme
St Elizabeth’s offers over 40 programmes of learning and leisure services.
There are four innovative Social Enterprises providing vocational experience in horticulture, art and ceramics, making and selling jewellery and The Orchard Project producing our own apple juice for sale.
Other day activities are run between Monday and Friday organised around four main themes: physical activities, arts and crafts, multisensory, music and drama. We also arrange day trips and outings.
