About Us

Welcome to St Elizabeth's College. We are an Independent Specialist College for young people aged 19-25 with learning difficulties and disabilities, including those with epilepsy and other complex needs.

The College provides learners with a safe and fulfilling learning and living environment, in which they benefit from being part of a wider, caring community. Based on a Christian ethos, everyone is valued for their unique and individual talents. St Elizabeth's is committed to enabling and supporting young people to live their life to the full.

We offer a three year course which develops learners’ independent living skills; provides extensive work related learning and work experience opportunities; and focuses on relevant literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. We also offer a wide range of Social Enterprise, vocational and work placements. We also have many community links that provide many opportunities for vocational learning and leisure activities. External accreditation underpins the whole of the curriculum.

The College benefits from access to the Centre’s outstanding Health and Therapy Service, including specialist nursing provision.

Transition planning is a central part of the College Programme and our learners aspire to move on to a range of supported living arrangements and a fulfilling life, which may include work placements, further learning and leisure activities.
