Transitions

DSC_0225.JPG

The College programme is designed with onward transition in mind. This is so we can provide learners with the skills that they will need at their next destination. This can mean independent supported living or living more independently in a whole range of other residential settings.

Vocational and work related opportunities are designed to give learners essential workplace skills that will enable access to supported employment when they leave College (for identified students). Learners may also want to continue learning with a different provider.

We have a robust programme of transition for all learners which is accelerated during their final year of placement.

The College is committed to supporting all learners and families to achieve positive outcomes and destinations and by working with all relevant agencies we strive to enable smooth transition.

Over the past 2 years we are proud of the achievements of our leavers with many progressing into further learning or work, both paid and voluntary.
