Local community Junior Schools are now supporting St Elizabeth’s

As part of the Mayor of Sawbridgeworth Chosen Charity of the Year, we have had the fantastic opportunity to join the Mayor and present at a number of local Sawbridgeworth schools.  As a result of these presentations, these schools have chosen St Elizabeth’s as their Charity of the Year!  This is great news as the young students found St Elizabeth’s history very interesting and they all wanted to support their local charity.  We are looking forward to them joining us for future events!  (due to safeguarding  not sure we can name the schools).

If your local school has an opportunity for a speaker to come to them, please do let us know!

Volunteering

As part of our volunteering awareness, we have had the opportunity to present to a number of business students at Harlow College.  We based the presentation on the wide range of volunteering opportunities that we have within our x7 Charity Shops, office admin, marketing & events volunteering opportunities available here at St Elizabeth’s centre.  Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and for showing us such enthusiasm!!
