We Provide Assessment, Treatment, Diagnosis, Emergency Care and Training

The nursing and therapy team are registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide a range of medical services on site at St Elizabeth’s.

These services include assessment, treatment, diagnosis, emergency care and training across the 24 hour provision.

We provide:

  • Epilepsy Specialist Nurses
  • Registered Children’s trained nurses
  • Learning disability trained nurses
  • Registered General nurses

Each resident and student benefits from:

  • 24 hour nursing cover
  • On site medical support with specialist GP clinics
  • EEG and Video Telemetry on site supporting young people through diagnosis and seizure management
  • Vagal Nerve Stimulation device management on site (VNS)
  • On site neurology clinics working in partnership with lead professors from Great Ormond Street Hospital and The National Hospital for Epilepsy
  • On site ophthalmology services and access to specialist community dentists, surgical appliances and other individualised health needs supported
  • Transition to adult provision supported
