The nursing and medical team provide assessment, treatment, diagnosis, emergency care and training across the 24 hour provision. 

The nursing provision within each of school, adult services and college is different and these are described in more details on the separate pages. The common thread is that the nursing team provide training to care staff to enable off site medication to be administered and care to be tailored to meet each individuals medical needs.

The nursing team work closely with GPs and consultants to provide specialist diagnosis and care for all clients.

The nursing support is provided, whenever possible, in the homes of clients so that they can recover in familiar surroundings.
