Enquiries and Application

Enquiries are accepted on behalf of the prospective service user, from the appropriate professional, relatives or guardians.

Application forms for the Adult Services are received and assessed by the Admissions Officer, who will be the main point of contact throughout the application process.

The applicant and parent/guardian and (sometimes) social worker, Connexions worker or family friend will be invited for an initial visit and will have an individual guided tour.

Once the application has been assessed and accepted, and funding/payment has been agreed, the respite dates can then be booked in consultation with the family. The respite service may also be utilised as a trial stay before applying for our residential care services.
