Welcome to St Elizabeth's Sixth Form.
As our learners reach the age of 16, they embark on our Sixth Form's bespoke, individualised curriculum underpinned by work related learning and preparation for adulthood.
A core part of our curriculum in the Sixth Form is to ensure that all learners have access to the world of work and social enterprise experiences; that they are aware of their choices, rights and options to support them to feel empowered in decision making.
Our learners will use the application of communication, resilience, problem-solving and self-advocacy skills in real-world work environments, giving them a host of qualifications and transferable skills needed for their future aspirations.
Our Sixth Form:
- Is for students aged 16 - 19
- Has brand new facilities within a purposely designed Sixth Form building
- Is part of the new Adult Learning directorate
- Has a curriculum designed across three pathways ensuring bespoke/personalised delivery
- Has access to a host of real-world social enterprise and work experience opportunities
- Has accurate and regular assessment of knowledge and skills towards EHCP and preparing for adulthood targets
