Jill Rankin Positive living and learning for people with epilepsy and other complex needs

Jill Rankin

I first came to St Elizabeth’s when I took up a summer holiday job during my school and university years. In 2000, I joined the organisation on a full time basis as Clinical Services Manager, overseeing our Health and Therapy Services.

I was then promoted to Assistant Director in 2003, and continued in this role until 2008.  During this time, I completed my Registered Manager award to compliment my existing qualifications - a degree in Social Administration and Policy and a post graduate qualification in HR and Finance Management.

In 2008, I was appointed Director of Adult Care Services, originally overseeing our registered Care Home with Nursing, before this role expanded in 2014 where I oversaw Domiciliary Care Services as well as Residential Services at the Centre.

In autumn 2020 I took over as interim Chief Executive, and my appointment became permanent in January 2021.

My husband and I are the proud parents of Harry who is eight, and Sofia who is five!
