Positive living and learning for people with epilepsy and other complex needs

Sharon Wallin

My first experience of St Elizabeth’s was in 2012, when I came to the Summer Fayre. It had poured with rain all morning and as I arrived at St Elizabeth’s, the sun started to shine! A year later in September 2013, I officially took up position as the School Principal, overseeing the school, both academic and residential.

In January 2015, I was appointed Director of Education. In this capacity, I have oversight of the School, the Children’s Home and the College. I have over 25 years experience in both mainstream and special education, much of it within schools in challenging circumstances. I have also worked as an OFSTED Inspector.

I have always maintained a keen interest in creative and performing arts and enjoy taking part in a wide range of creative pursuits whenever I can.
