You can choose where to donate your money to – just let us know when you make the donation if you want it to go somewhere specific.
In the past few years, thanks to kind donations and grants, we have raised money for a number of new facilities and equipment including:
New Playground – Opened in 2017 and used by children and young people, our new fully-accessible playground has a zip wire, an integrated trampoline, climbing frame and wheelchair-roundabout, and is one of the most popular places on site!
iPads – Thanks to a number of grants and donations, we have been able to buy new iPads for use by our learners in the school to help those who struggle with a mouse or keyboard and to develop communication skills, ICT skills and independence.
Outdoor Garden Studio – Built as part of Ashvale, our on-site Horticultural project, the outdoor classroom provides an accessible learning and work-space for all residents to re-pot plants, and to weigh, price and prepare the vegetables they have grown.
Therapy Bike – Thanks to a successful fundraising campaign, we bought a new specialist Therapy Bike to go into our new Physiotherapy Room for our adult residents who need therapy to strengthen their arms or legs, or who require rehabilitation following a seizure.
The ARC – After a huge fundraising appeal, we raised the £2.2 million required to build a new College and Day Centre, creating a dedicated centre for the educational, vocational and therapeutic activities we offer.
