Apple Day 2019

Apple Day 2019

Apple Day 2019 was a huge success! The weather held out long enough to enable us to welcome lots of visitors into our ancient orchard, to harvest apples for another year of delicious apple juice.

We raised a total of £1966.55!!! Our refreshments stall made a total of £830, with our apple picking making £431.75. An incredible amount raised - thanks to everyone who came to support us.

A huge thank you to MJ tool hire in Bishop's Stortford who provided a generator free of charge so we could host live music. Thanks to O2e , Blues inc , Kris Ambrose , St Elizabeth's Centre - Recruitment , our stall holders and our amazing volunteers who helped juice apples for tasting, prepare and serve refreshments and set up and clear away! The day wouldn't be possible without the help of everyone involved.

We were also thrilled to use the opportunity to take a picture with the O2e group on our resurfaced tennis court, which they helped make possible.

Thanks to everyone again for coming to join us!
