Ocean Challenge 2021

Ocean Challenge 2021

We hosted our own 'Ocean Challenge' yesterday, to support Endurance Limits who are currently rowing the North Pacific in aid of St Elizabeth's! 🐳🐙🌊
We had so much fun dressing up as pirates, making and selling mermaid cakes and Ocean themed shortbread, enjoying music sessions with a theme of the ocean, as well as taking on challenges to support our rowers. Some of our School residential students also had lots of fun recreating a 'slip and slide' to cool off in the hot sun! ☀️
Endurance Limits have so far rowed just over 1000 miles, with around 1600 miles left until they reach Hawaii. One of the rowers Darren is father to one of our School students Hadley, so we were delighted to have him come along to support the event and help raise lots of money.
We have so far raised (both in money and online donations) just over £300, which will go towards their overall fundraising target. The funds will enable us to build a bespoke health and therapy unit, where all of our disciplines can work holistically together to support everyone in our care.
You can still support us! Please visit the link below, and make sure you are following Endurance Limits for updates!
