Positives for 2021!

Positives for 2021!

Despite 2021 not starting quite the way we had hoped, we are working incredibly hard to maintain our highest standards of care and education, and continuing to make St Elizabeth’s a fulfilling and positive place to live and work. Despite current restrictions, we are all about spreading positivity! We are committed to:
💜 Keeping our School & College open for learning! We have strict Covid guidance in place, and are delivering lessons both in school and residential settings. Classes are in bubbles but are still learning!
💜 Regularly testing ALL of our staff on site throughout the week. We have access to testing kits regularly and are maintaining a testing programme to keep on top of infection rates
💜 Rolling out the start of a vaccine programme as early as next week! Those living and working in direct care will be priority.
💜 Continuing our Day Opportunities and Enterprise Projects. Sessions are being moved either to bungalows or within bubbles, and remain open to day clients
💜 Offering and continuing employment opportunities across the local community
💜 Still fundraising! Our fundraising team are working hard to raise vital funds, and are accepting a £8,000 cheque from long-time friends of the Centre, O2e next week
💜 Shopping online - our eBay shop is still open! Please see our website for more info.
💜 Filming some exciting new videos with HNE Media to compensate for the unfortunate cancellations of our Open Days. All filming taking place is Covid secure with every guideline in place.
A huge thank you to our incredibly committed and brave staff teams, who are working hard and long hours to keep us all safe. THANK YOU!
