Waltham Abbey Shop opens!

Waltham Abbey Shop opens!

On Friday 13th April, our 10th St Elizabeth’s Charity Shop was officially opened in Waltham Abbey by the Mayor, Mick Fitch.

The Mayor cut the ribbon in the presence of new Manager Mary and Assistant Manager Lisa, and welcomed in eager, waiting customers. Inside, customers were spoilt for choice with a variety of items such as clothes, jewellery, toys and crockery. The new shop also offers facilities such as changing rooms and vibrant decor to liven up your shopping experience!

The Waltham Abbey branch joins 9 other branches, including: Thorley and Florence Walk in Bishop’s Stortford, Staple Tye and Bush Fair in Harlow, Hoddesdon, Ware, Braintree, Potters Bar and Saffron Walden.

Like all of our shops, donations are always welcome and volunteering opportunities are available. Please get in touch with St Elizabeth’s fundraising team at or pop into your local shop to enquire.

Based in Hertfordshire, at St Elizabeth’s we support over 200 children and adults with epilepsy, complex neurological conditions and profound learning disabilities. We provide specialist care and support that meets individual needs, helping residents and day learners to live safely and happily, removing barriers to living their lives to their fullest potential.
