Helen spent 35 years working in London schools. The majority of those 35 years was spent teaching Geography and being a Head of Year. Towards the end of her time in education, Helen established an academic mentoring programme to support vulnerable and underachieving pupils in their studies.

After leaving the education sector, Helen began volunteering at a local homeless shelter and is actively involved in her local parish. Helen first became involved with St Elizabeth’s through her son Philip who attended the school and later lived as an adult resident at the Centre.
