Prayer & Liturgy

Liturgy is the public prayer and worship of the Church. We choose love in action at St Elizabeth’s to lead by example encouraging all to come together as a community for the good of others.

St Elizabeth's Mass times:

Saturday 7th March - 9am

Sunday 8th March - 11am

Monday 9th March - 9am, Blessed Adoration 12.30pm

Tuesday 10th March - 9am, Memorial Service for Matthew Dolman 2.30pm

Holy Cross is the nearest church for mass on Sundays in Much Hadham, this is a church shared with St Andrew's. Father Peter or Father Marco celebrate mass at 11.30am.

"Lent invites us to stop eating whatever protects us from having to face the desert that is inside of us. It invites us to acknowledge our smallness, to feel our vulnerability, to feel our fears, and to open ourselves up to the chaos of the desert so that we can finally give the angels a chance to feed us."

- Bishop James Curry
