Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager
£21,162 - £23,889 per annum
37.5 hours per week
This exciting vacancy is based within our Domiciliary Care team and will work alongside the Domiciliary Care Manager to lead a team of Residential Learning Support Assistants. This role will be busy and varied, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the skills within the team are deployed effectively, ensuring all staff have appropriate training and development plans in place, supporting with staff appraisals and supervisions and implementing the Centres policies and procedures all while ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our residents.
You’ll be liaising with resident’s families and working in collaboration with different teams across the Centre so excellent communication skills are essential. We’re looking for someone who is medication trained and who understands the importance of working to Individual Care Plans. If you have experience of working with people with learning disabilities in a care environment and have already obtained Level 2 NVQ/QCF in Care (Adults) we would like to hear from you.
St Elizabeth’s is situated in 68 acres of Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 78 in our Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with nursing and Day Centre.
