St Elizabeth’s Children’s Home supports children aged 5 – 19 who have Epilepsy and other associated complex needs. We’re based in a fabulous site just outside of Much Hadham and make up part of the wider Centre which supports over 150 people. Our Children’s home is currently going through an exciting period of change and we’re looking for an experienced Registered Childcare Manager to lead and develop the service.

As the Registered Childcare Manager you will be responsible and accountable for the service, its staff and its operational and financial performance. You’ll plan, develop and manage the service so that the holistic needs of our young people are met alongside contributing to the strategic plan for the Children’s Home. You’ll be a natural leader who will enable our staff to deliver a high standard of care practice. Compliance is high on the agenda for this role so your knowledge of legislation, law and policies will allow you to have robust child protection, management systems and processes in place in line with Children’s Home standards/regulations.

We are looking for someone who has experience in a professional residential setting caring for children and young people and who has a positive track record of managing teams. You’ll be a great people person who is solution focused, motivated and passionate about providing outstanding care and support. You’ll need to have Level 5 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent alongside a relevant degree or professional qualification.
