Happy International Nurses Day! International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every year on 12th May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. This year, the theme is ‘Our Nurses, Our Future.’
Our nurses really are our superpower, and in keeping with the theme they all dressed as superheroes and decorated the Health Hub for all of their fellow heroes to come and visit today 
Activities included guessing the weight of Spiderman, decorating the Nursing Tree and enjoying some treats provided by a certain Hungry Caterpillar...
We want to thank all nurses near and far who are celebrating today, and thank our special team of nurses for everything they do to care for and support our children and young people. You are our heroes!
