An utterly amazing event took place last week with the biggest ever O2e Big Kev's Bike Ride to Amsterdam. The raw stats:

136 riders
Over 36,000 miles ridden from Dunkirk to Amsterdam via Bruges and Rotterdam
The most spectacular and wonderful scenery, courtesy of a terrific route from Rafe Aldridge
I can’t moan about hills as that nice Rafe man was true to his word….
Torrential rain (in spells), 40mph head winds, sandstorms, quick sand, scary monsters…
10 superb support team members
6 mechanical failures (fixed)
2 injury drops outs (though both completed the last 10 miles)
1 exhaustion drop out
1 broken fibula (fell off kerb in Amsterdam). The kerbs are a ‘mare' to be fair
And last but by no means least, funds raised at time of writing are just north of £98,500
