COVID-19 Charity Shops Information

With the news that retail outlets are now slowly being allowed to open, we have been working hard to put a plan in place that will enable us to gradually open our Charity Shops again. Having risk assessed each of our branches thoroughly, under strict Government guidelines we will be opening our Charity Shops on a phased basis. The following branches are now open as part of the first phase:

Braintree, Bush Fair (Harlow), Florence Walk (Bishop’s Stortford), Hoddesdon, Saffron Walden, Staple Tye (Harlow) and Ware.

We are still adapting the remaining branches (Hoddesdon, Potters Bar, Thorley and Waltham Abbey) so they fully conform to Government guidance, and these will form the second phase of reopening – date TBC.

Before you visit our shops, please read the information in the boxes above regarding the safety measures that will be in place, as well as information on making donations as this process has changed. The safety of our staff and our customers is our highest priority, so we ask for your patience and cooperation while we implement these rules and guidelines.

You can still continue to shop in our Charity Shops via our eBay page, with new items added regularly.

If you have any questions or would like to see a copy of the risk assessment for the shop you are visiting, please contact Fundraising on fundraising@stelizabeths.org.uk.
