St Elizabeth’s offer a range of volunteering opportunities for both corporate and community volunteers of large or small groups throughout the year. Whether it is assisting with gardening or lending a hand with painting, there is a role to suit everyone! Here at St Elizabeth’s, volunteering can make a real difference to us. By giving your time, the living environment of our vulnerable beneficiaries is kept in a beautiful condition, enabling everyone to enjoy it all year round. Volunteering also ensures St Elizabeth’s can save on valuable resources and money that keep the site up to date. Above all, it’s a great team-building exercise!
Our volunteering days on offer are Monday - Friday, with two different types of volunteering roles available:
- General Site Maintenance (painting, gardening and tidying)
- Ashvale (gardening, weeding, pruning etc., within Ashvale, the Horticultural Project).
When your volunteering role comes to an end, we want to encourage all volunteers to remain engaged - from signing up to a challenge event, to running a company-wide bake sale or attending one of our fundraising events. The Centre would love for you to share your experience with your colleagues, friends and family!
